Issue/Introduction

The SOI Manager takes a long time to process incoming CIs and Alerts from UIM connector.

In the Queue Monitor page of the Manager Debug page, you can see the manager is taking a long time to process incoming CIs and Alerts.

Cause

UIM connector sends all CIs and Alerts to the manager when it starts up.

Component : Service Operations Insight (SOI) Manager

Resolution

Enabled performdeltaprocessing for the UIM connector in the Connector Configuration in the Administration page.
performDeltaProcessing:
Specifies whether to process and publish deltas on CIs between the time the connector or SA Manager was last stopped or restarted. When enabled, this setting also performs delta processing on relationships if the getRelationshipsAtStartup property is enabled.
