Modifying Lookups created for Custom Object Instances

Issue/Introduction

There are lookups that get created having all (Active/Inactive) Instances of Custom Objects. We would like to use these lookups but need only Active instances.

Can we modify this Lookup query?

Environment

Release : 15.8.1

Component : CA PPM Studio

Resolution

This lookup is able to be modified in the UI prior to associating it to an attribute so we do not foresee a change to this NSQL having any impact anywhere else in the application. If an attribute has already been associated to the lookup, any updates to the lookup would have to be done via XOG. 

The only caveat is that there is no guarantee on whether the NSQL for these types of lookups will get overwritten during an upgrade.
