JWP performance issue with forecast stuck in preparing

Issue/Introduction

Forecast issues: Autoforecast gets stuck in preparing status and causes high system utilization and impacts system performance.

When this occurs, JWP utilization goes to 100 and may eventually drop back down, but sometimes do not

Environment

Release : 12.3.4 and earlier

Component : AUTOMATION ENGINE

Cause

This is a defect when there are PERIOD containers active with the option "execute after previous execution ends", the autoforecast calculation will get stuck and the JWP runs into an endless loop.

Resolution

Troubleshooting: select eh_name, eh_client, eh_ah_idnr from eh where eh_ah_idnr in (select epd_ah_idnr from epd where EPD_FreqMode =1)

This issue has been fixed with Automation Engine 12.3.5 and future versions.
