Issues Moving WCC r12 from Derby to Oracle DB

Issue/Introduction

We tried following the following: https://knowledge.broadcom.com/external/article?articleId=10291

But when we go to run this command, it looks like the command is getting hung up.

Nothing happens:

/opt/CA/WorkloadAutomationAE/wcc/bin/wcc_config.sh -u user1234 --dbplatform ORACLE --dbuser wcc_monitor --dbpassword ##### --dbtnspath /opt/oracle/product/client/12102/network/admin/tnsnames.ora --dbtnsname dbwcc1

Environment

Release : 12.0

Component : WORKLOAD CONTROL CENTER

Resolution

As of R12, WCC now requires users to setup the schema via the install. This is to better align it with the AutoSys install, create the schema up front rather than create it on the fly.
