Issue/Introduction

How to check if Large Data Buffers (DATA2 buffers in DATAPOOL MUF startup parameter) are currently used on a MUF region.

Resolution

Buffer usage statistics are produced at MUF EOJ (see BUFFER POOL INFORMATION section) but they can also be produced when MUF is still running via ALL_INFO_REPORT console command (see "Can I produce a statistics report like the one from the CA Datacom MUF shutdown, but while the MUF is still running?" article).

As an alternative, one can query SYSADM.MUF_BUF_USE Dynamic System Table.
