Issue/Introduction

How are the PRDEPENDENCY and PRJ_TASK_DEPENDENCY tables populated?

Resolution

When a task dependency is manually created in the UI either in Classic or the new UX, the dependency record(s) get created in both of these tables. When a task dependency is created in MSP and saved back to Clarity using the out of the box 15.7.1 MSP connector, the dependency record(s) get created in both of these tables as well. 

The PRDEPENDENCY table is used by the Classic UI to display the dependencies in both the Gantt and the task Properties page. The PRJ_TASK_DEPENDENCY table was added as of 15.7.0 when the Task Timeline view was first introduced in the new UX. This table is used by the new UX to display the relationship arrows/links between tasks in the Timeline view.
