Issue/Introduction

Is there a flag in the TSSINSTX Installation Exit that can be accessed for Password Change logic that indicates mixed case passwords are being used?

Resolution

IBM documents the RACF CVT (RCVT) as having the RCVTFLG3 flag setting of RCVTPLC (x'40').

                 .1.. ....             RCVTPLC   Allow lower case passwords

If mixed case is set then Top Secret sets this flag.
