Environment

Component : CA Workload Automation AE (AutoSys)

Resolution

Due to corrupt or missing files for Java. This particular issue was resolved by restoring the jre folder from a working WCC installation of the same release level.

  1. Compare the jre folder on the non-working server with the jre folder on a working server.
  2. Compare the jre_32 folder on the non-working server with the jre_32 folder on a working server.
  3. Backup the directory that you will be restoring by renaming the existing jre and/or jre_32 folder(s) on the non-working server.
Note: Most append .bak, .bkp, or .orig to the folder name. Whatever your preference.
  4. Copy the jre and/or jre_32 folder(s) over from the working server.
  5. Finally, restart WCC and validate functionality.
