Issue/Introduction

Is there a way to decrypt the encrypted password generated by autosys_secure or the current value for DBAccess=<user>/<password>> in the $AUTOUSER/config.$AUTOSERV file?

Will support decrypt a string provided to confirm its decrypted value?

Resolution

Broadcom will not provide a utility to decrypt the encrypted passwords for clients and/or decrypt passwords they are provided as that it is against our security policy to do so. That information/password could be used inappropriately. If you and your team feel differently, then please contact your Broadcom Account team who can contact the Product team to discuss further.
