DevTest Registry fails to start.

Issue/Introduction

Registry service fails to start. When logging into the Portal we see the following error message:

Server error, can not authenticate user. Please make sure the Registry service is running.

 In the LISA_TEMP directory in the regsitry.log we could see the following error:

Cause

There was a problem with cached information in the LISA_TEMP folder.

Lisa

Component : CA Service Virtualization

Resolution

1) we found the IAM and Enterprise dashboard were both running with no errors.
2) All other services were down.
3) you are running all of DevTest components on a single Linux server.
4) You are using the internal Derby Database for the installation.
5) In the LISA_TEMP directory in the regsitry.log we could see the following error:

6) we stopped the enterprise dashboard and IAM services.
7) We renamed the Lisa_temp folder to Lisa_temp_OLD
8) we verified the license file in the DevTest folder had not expired
9) we started IAM and enterprise Dashboard and made sure we could log in.
10) we then started the registry and it started with no errors.
11) we then started the portal and the SVE
12) we ran a test and it completed successfully.
