Issue/Introduction

Filesystem errors returned during either the nightly or intraday RiskFabric processing job indicate the presence of malware and may cause individual job steps to fail. The error may include the code 3238133761.

Operation did not complete successfully because the file contains a virus or potentially unwanted software

Additional processing operations that were dependent on the operation that failed with this error may also fail with error code HY008.

Cause

This error is generated by Windows Defender and is unrelated to ICA, SQL, or SSAS operations.

Resolution

Using Symantec Endpoint Protection, Windows Defender, or another malware scanner, run a full system scan against the server containing the affected path and file specified in the error message. No other action is required.
