Issue/Introduction

The "Interface IP Mask Table" subview in Spectrum OneClick is not populated for some interface models.  I can see the IP are stored in attribute 0x12dba (ifIPMaskList) on the interface.

Cause

The specific interfaces where this is occurring are interfaces models that have an ifType of 53 "propVirtual" modeled in the Spectrum database using the VLAN_If Model Type (ModelType_Handle 0x4670001).

The reason the VLAN_If interface does not support the secondary address attributes is due to performance reasons. Due to the load the VLAN functionality already puts on the SpectroSERVER (SS), it was found that adding this functionality caused a rather high increase in the SS CPU load. This functionality is part of a larger piece of functionality, and that larger piece would need to be added to these ports in the SS database. In house testing has found this to cause major CPU increase on the SS, therefore the decision was made to not include this out of the box as we did not want to introduce major performance problems throughout Spectrum.  This affects all versions of Spectrum, including the 64 bit versions.

To view addresses known by a device, utilize the USMOtherIPAddresses (0x5b60004) attribute.

Environment
