Issue/Introduction

Running a daily DMS Job, that copies all GDGs. Received RC=08 in the DMS step since it finds DSNs that are archived.

Environment

Release : Disk Backup and Restore 12.5

Resolution

The VTOC Open for volume (vvvvvv) or offline unit (uuuu) failed with RC=08 and the volume was bypassed.
Check the VTOC for volume (vvvvvv) or unit(uuuu). One possibility for an online volume is that the device might have to be varied off-line and back online.
