CA Deliver requires 70.32MB storage for a 200 cylinder checkpoint. This is why:
. A 200 cylinder checkpoint has 18,000 blocks.
. Each block is 4,096 bytes. 18000 * 4096 = 73,728,000 bytes or 70.3125MB.
You can do a RMODBASE status and get the number of checkpoint blocks, multiply that by 4096, and divide by 1Mb (1,048,576) and that is the basic storage requirement. There is some additional storage needed besides that but small compared with that amount.
35.15MB storage is needed for a 100 cylinder checkpoint.
Therefore an increase in Checkpoint file may require an increase in TSO users storage allocation
