Issue/Introduction

AAI Admin exported out his JAWS EEM Policy from one EEM server to another and now gets the following error:

[EIAMServiceImpl-4] ERROR com.ca.eiam.jpoz.PozFactory  - checkForFailoverNumber - Could not communicate with the EEM Server [], server returned with errorcode – 846

when logging in

Release : 6.0.x

Component : AUTOMIC AUTOMATION INTELLIGENCE ENGINE

Resolution

Within EEM:

  • Login into the JAWS application with the eiamadmin user
  • Go to Manage Access Policies tab
  • On the left hand pane 
  • Select under the Access Policies ->JAWSApplication
  • Than select Simple Login Policy on the right hand pane
  • In the section "Identity Access Control List Configuration"
  • Click on the "search identities"
  • Find you user and click search
  • Highlight your user once found
  • Select the bottom arrow to add that user in
  • Select the permissions that you want to give the user
  • Save the changes
  • Than the user will be able to log into AAI.

Additional Information

Alternatively you can update the default identity permissions as well.
