Issue/Introduction

AutoSys 12 install failing - what might I be doing wrong?

It says host not reachable but the host IS reachable - and what do I do about that library bitness error?

I looked in the Broadcom support search and it says create a soft link to the 12.1 - the soft link is already there!

"libclntsh.so" is not a 64-bit client shared library.

 

Environment

Release : 12

Component : CA Workload Automation AE (AutoSys)

Resolution

1. Use 64-bit version of Oracle Client instead of the 32-bit versoin.
2. Use the correct tns alias, host name.
3. Install the schema without creating tablespace, users and roles which already exist in the database.
4. Install the product without creating the schema.
