ASM OPMS 10.4.0.2 Installation Failed Code 6

Issue/Introduction

When trying to install asm OPMS 10.4.0.2, the installation gets to the end and fails with a Code 6.

 

There are also processes that have "execution failed" or does not exist when checking monit summary.

/etc/monit.d/selenoid-docker.conf:5: Program does not exist: '/opt/asm/selenoid/bin/selenoid.py'

/etc/monit.d/selenoid-docker.conf:6: Program does not exist: '/usr/bin/docker'

/etc/monit.d/jmeter4-agent.conf:5: Program does not exist: '/etc/init.d/smartpop-jmeter4-agent'

/etc/monit.d/jmeter4-agent.conf:6: Program does not exist: '/etc/init.d/smartpop-jmeter4-agent'

Resolution

If you use a proxy, and have a whitelist set up for api.asm.saas.broadcom.com, and non-whitelisted URLs receive a MITM certificate, you will get this error.  Solution is to add example.broadcom.com (and other domains listed in the communication that was sent out before the release) to the proxy whitelist.

The Proxy team just made the fix, and the installer ran and completed.
