When I attempt to change the DFHRPL concatenation using the DADS DFHRPL LIBRARIES REALLOCATION MENU the refresh fails with error message
DP859 DATASET OPEN.
I also see a DAL1 abend in the CICS log
DFHAP1900 06/10/2020 08:51:07 NCXT01A LCS572B SRM138 DAL1 SET PROGRAM(DADSFAKE) NEWCOPY RESP(IOERR) RESP2(8).
If you have Abend Aid, Dump Master or SmartTest running in the CICS region please STOP these products and then try to REFRESH the RPL.
But this should be a temporary solution. The DADS Plus for CICS RPL modification feature has been removed from the product and this feature is no longer supported.
Below is the LINK that explains the DADS RPL feature being removed from the product.

Subject: Feature Deprecation Announcement for CA DADS Plus - PTF SO04309
CA Technologies is continually working to improve our software to best meet the needs of our customers. During our latest certification effort, we have determined that architectural changes in CICS and z/OS will provide similar DFHRPL functional support as CA DADS Plus and therefore the CA DADS Plus DFHRPL Library Management functions will no longer be offered. Customers should transition to using the IBM CICS Dynamic Program Library resources, and are advised to discontinue using the CA DADS Plus DFHRPL Library Management functions immediately.
A PTF (SO04309) will be provided to deprecate CA DADS Plus DFHRPL Library Management support. This PTF will permanently disable the CA DADS Plus DFHRPL feature for all supported releases of CICS and once applied, clients will no longer be able to modify the DFHRPL online or during CICS startup using CA DADS Plus from the following primary menu options:
2 DFHRPL LIBRARIES MANAGEMENT
6 STARTUP MANAGEMENT
Your success is very important to us, and we look forward to continuing our successful partnership with you.
Fix SO04309 REMOVES the DADS Plus RPL feature from the product. We strongly recommend that you apply this fix since use of the feature can cause your CICS regions on the LPAR to hang.
