CA Pan/SQL 2.6: DB2 Upgrade from Version 11 to 12

Issue/Introduction

Upgrading from DB2 v11 to DB2 v12, is there any maintenance which needs to be applied to CA Pan/SQL 2.6?

Also, which bind jobs should be run?

Environment

CA-Pan/SQL (DB2 Interface) release 2.6

DB2 v12

Resolution

No specific PTFs are needed in order for DB2 v12 to be compatible with CA Pan/SQL 2.6. 

Please review the D2BINST2, D2BINST3, and D2BINST4 jobs in your installation JCL, modify them accordingly to include the DB2 v12 datasets for your company, and then rerun all three of them. 

The bind itself is contained within the D2BINST3 JCL.
