Resolution

1. Verify the Timeout Options either in the SMRT, Profile or User level.

Valid values:
F - return to the TPX LOGO as if /F command was issued
FI - return to the TPX LOGO and inactivate all sessions
K - return to the VTAM screen as if the /K command was issued
KI - return to the VTAM screen and inactivate all sessions
L - lock the user's screen as if the /L command was issued

Timeout Options set in the SMRT

From the TPX Administration Menu
Select option 2 TPX System Option
Select option 1 System Options (SMRT)
Select the SMRT table noted at startup

Example below:

SMRTTEST 11/19/20 16:18:03 XXXXXXX STARTUP

Select option 4 Timing Parameters

From the   TPX User/Group Administration Menu

Select option   2  Profile Maintenance

Select the profile from the profile list.
