CA Virtual Privilege Manager CA Privileged Identity Management Endpoint (PIM)

Issue/Introduction

Following "Import the Report Package":

https://techdocs.broadcom.com/us/en/symantec-security-software/identity-security/privileged-identity-manager/14-0/integrating/ca-user-activity-reporting-module-integration/setup-ca-user-activity-reporting-module-environment/set-up-ca-business-intelligence-for-reporting.html#concept.dita_5686230ec2120a73d4b85c06af88afbbf0d22a71_ImporttheReportPackage

There does not seem to be any reports under pim. The zip files say import successful but came with this warning:

The folder /organizations/pim/capability belongs to an organization that does not exist in the target server. Skipping this folder.

Environment

Release : 12.8

Component : CA ControlMinder

Cause

The Organization ID was not pim. There needs to be an organization with the name and id of "pim" (lower case without quotes) to import the report package to.

Resolution

The "Organization ID" must be "pim" (in lower case without quotes) as well as the "Organization Name".

Unfortunately, you cannot edit the Organization ID once the Organization has been created, so you will need to delete your existing pim organization and then create it again. So, you need to start from here:
