    Once the user has been authenticated CA CSM will perform the requested download. There are two options for performing downloads FTP or HTTPS. FTP is the default method used for Product Acquisitions. In order to process the requested downloads via FTP, CA CSM will need access to the following FTP servers using FTP protocol via port 21:

    * ftp.ca.com
    * ftpca.ca.com
    * scftpd.ca.com

    In order to process the requested downloads using the optional HTTPS protocol; CA CSM will need access to CA's server sdownloads.ca.com using HTTPS protocol via Port 443.

    * sdownloads.ca.com

    CA CSM can support most HTTP and FTP proxy servers.
    Proxy Authentication using NTLM V2.0 is supported with CA CSM 4.1 and above.

  • The CA CSM application is access from a web browser on the user's PC or Workstation over the corporate network.

  • The port used to access the application can be configured based on each customer's needs.

  • The protocol used to access the application is configured as either HTTP via port 8080 or HTTPS via port 443.
