Issue/Introduction

If one runs a data query by query name it fails:

EXECUTE ABC123QRY
DQ010E - THE MEMBER NAME IS UNKNOWN, OR YOU AREN'T AUTHORIZED TO USE IT

Environment

Component : CA Dataquery for CA Datacom

Component : CA Datacom/DB

Resolution

A user should be able to submit their own query or a public one. If they tried to edit or submit a private query that belongs to someone else, this is the expected error.

Every query has either a public or private status. When issuing the LIST MINE or LIST ALL command, you can hit PF12 (RIGHT) to see the Public or Private status. or if an administrator uses the LIB command (menu 4, Admin, then 10, Library), they can see the status.

Note, too, that as an administrator, when accessing queries from the LIB function, you can execute it or edit it from there where you would not be able to access the query normally outside the Library function.

Additional Information

As always, please contact Broadcom support for CA Datacom if you have further questions.
