Enable Delta API by deactivating and re-activating the Office 365 Securlet

Issue/Introduction

Delta API provides a faster method for processing API requests for the Office 365 Securlet.  Enabling Delta API on the CloudSOC tenant can now be done by deactivating and reactivating the Office 365 Securlet.

Resolution

Follow the steps below:

  1. Login to your CloudSOC tenant with a Sysadmin account
     
  2. Go to the Store tab
     
  3. Hover over the Office 365 Securlet and select Configure


     
  4. On the Configure Securlet page verify that the Purge Data check box is NOT checked and take note of the Account Name.  The account name will need to be identical when re-activating or re-activation will not be successful.

  5. Click Deactivate (Only one O365 account can be active to deactivate. Remove all extra accounts before deactivating the Securlet).
      
  6. ​After deactivation wait at least 30 minutes before trying to re-activate the Securlet.
