Application Server and Scheduler won't start and core dump

Issue/Introduction

When attempting to start the Application Server or Scheduler, they fail to start and core dump

Environment

Release : 11.3.6 SP8 CUM1

Component : CA Workload Automation AE (AutoSys)

Cause

Known issue on RedHat Linux 7 and Oracle

Resolution

To resolve the Application Server and Scheduler not starting go to the following link.

Follow the workaround in the above link as follows:

Create an empty file /etc/sysconfig/64bit_strstr_via_64bit_strstr_sse2_unaligned as root user
