Issue/Introduction

Can xFlow be installed in a Production environment without interruption to other components (like CA Service Desk Manager)?

Environment

CA Service Management 17.2 and higher

Resolution

It is recommended to perform the installation of xFlow while other CA Service Management services are down since the install will install/configure items in the CA SDM (i.e. NX.env file) and will restart CA SDM services.
