Issue/Introduction

Customer had netstat permissions issues. Still unable to start Webview.

# cat IntroscopeWebView.log
[INFO] [WebServer] Starting Web Application Server
 [INFO] [WebServer] Starting Web Application Server

Release : 10.7.0

Component : APM Agents

Cause

MOM out of disk space. nc (or netcat) not on Webview server.

Resolution

Cleared MOM disk space. Restarted MOM . Then ran Wvctrl.sh

Additional Information

Helpful troubleshooting techniques

- set -x in wvctrl.sh

-netstat when running wvctrl.sh to see if port 8443 is open

- Set open port to 8443 in the script

- Compare to a working webview,

- Reinstalled Webview to SP3.

- Run Webview without the script.

- Add nc (or netcat) and telnet to test Webview with both.Ncstat is not required.
