What is the best backup method (full,incremental, etc...) to take a DB backup?

Regarding the product's side, any backup method can be used to perform the DB backup.

The only thing needed is that after finishing the restore, the DB must be in correct state, without data being lost/corrupted.

So, the only general recommendation is to periodically test the restore of backups done. This is a general best practice in IT world.
