Issue/Introduction

Z/OS 2.4 - CA DISK/OS 12.5 maintenance applied;

With SYSPARM VSVERIFY set to A, running a BACKUP or ARCHIVE of an in-use data set defined with the applicable share option less than 3 results in the data set being bypassed for processing.

SO15078 has been written to correct this problem.

Broadcom support should be contacted to obtain the PTF.
