url_response - Monitoring SSO authentication enabled URLs

Issue/Introduction

This knowledge base article documents a frequently asked question:

"Is it possible to monitor URLs which use SSO authentication using the url_response probe?"

Environment

Component : UIM - URL_RESPONSE

Resolution

Unfortunately, the url_response probe does not support SSO operations. 

• It can support basic authentication or windows authentication.
• It can not do forms authentication or SSO operations that require a redirect.

Potential workaround - Use the E2E probe:
