Issue/Introduction

Description:

You are installing CAIENF to satisfy the requirements of another CA Solution. You wonder if there is a preferred or recommended dispatching priority or performance group that the ENF task be assigned.

Solution:

ENF must have a dispatching priority equal to or greater than what the CA solution depending on ENF's services is defined with. The ENF Dispatching Priority should be set just below the z/OS system component address spaces (CATALOG, JES2, TCPIP). Review your system dispatching priority assignments and/or your Workload Management (WLM) setup.
