How do I Download and Unpack the CA MRI Toolkit ?

Resolution

Brief overview of the steps to download the latest version of the toolkit from the CA MRI cloud application and extract the files to your computer follow these steps:

To get started: 

(1).  Login to https://mri.broadcom.com/using your CA Support Online ID and password.

 

 

(2). Click on any of the Base Assessments Tiles (Hardware, Software or Health Check)

For example: 

Click the HARDWARE Tile 

 

(3).  Under Step 1, click the Collect Data On Your Mainframe button and then click the Download Toolkit Button 

(4). The Toolkit.zip file is downloaded to a folder on your PC. 

(5). Navigate to the Folder where you downloaded file,  Right Click on the Toolkit.zip file and select EXTRACT ALL 

The extracted MRI Toolkit includes the following files:

PDF documentation
CAMRI.MRI.CNTL.XMI
JCL that you customize and submit to perform MRI scans.
CAMRI.MRI.LOAD.XMI
Library of programs that perform MRI scan.

 

(6).  Navigate to the Folder on your PC where you extracted the files.

(7). After you have downloaded and unpacked the CA MRI Toolkit to your PC, refer to the link below and follow steps to upload/restore files on an LPAR where you intend to run the CA MRI scans.
