Issue/Introduction

Database Tablespaces Summary (Database Diagnostics) report fails to run in the Enforce console after you have migrated your Oracle DB.

 

 

Environment

 

 

Cause

Localhost log files contains the entry:

Level: SEVERE
Source: com.vontu.manager.admin.database.DatabaseDiagnosticsReportLoader
Message: Error encountered while fetching database diagnostic reports data. Caught exception trying to fetch database diagnostics report data: Cannot run program "sqlplus": CreateProcess error=2, The system cannot find the file specified

Resolution

  1. Add the new Oracle 19c client path to the Windows system environment variable in the ORACLE_HOME and in the PATH variable on the Enforce server
  2. Restart the SymantecDLPManager service for the change to be recognized
