Issue/Introduction

Analyzing RC/Migrator for Db2 for z/OS (RCM) strategy and specifying a MODEL ID and CREATOR on the
Analysis Options screen results in RMA256E message that the Model ID and Creator cannot be found.

Resolution

The RMA256E error message occurs when the MODEL ID and MODEL CREATOR on the
"RC/Migrate Strategy Analysis Options" screen is not populated correctly.
The MODEL ID that the analysis is referring to are the Utility Model IDs.

MODEL OPTIONS
MODEL ID      ==> @DEFAULT
MODEL CREATOR ==> authid
UPDATE MODEL  ==> N


These Model IDs can be displayed by using the following steps:

  1. In RC/Migrator - select Option 0 - Profile
  2. Select Option 6 - Utility Model Services
  3. The "CA General Model Services" screen displays and these are the valid Model IDs and Creators that can be used.
