Each client must have the Entrust Root CA 2048 installed. Without it, clients cannot connect to the WSS.

Entrust Root CA 2048 certificate is not a requirement anymore starting from WSSA version 7.3.x

 

 

  

To clarify and assist customers with update planning, the following WSS Agent support policy takes effect:  

The following WSS Agent support policy, including End Of Service (EOS/EOL), is effective as of May 18, 2022.

Terms

  • All Major WSS Agent releases receive support for whichever of the following terms results in a longer support period:
    • Two years (24 months) from their release date.
    • Or one year (12 months) from the release date of the next major version.

For example, v7.1.1 was release in November 2020 resulting in a minimum support period through November 2022. However, because version v8.1.1 was not released until May 2022, support for v7.x is automatically extended until May 31, 2023. 

  • Bug fixes and enhancements will be made available in a Maintenance Release for the most current Major Release only.
  • Security patches will be made available in the most current Maintenance Release for each supported Major Release.

 

Current EOS Status

The following table provided the current EOS status for currently available major versions. Use this information to plan a migration to a newer version before support of your current version expires.
