How can we disable ACT in a MICS Database Unit as we are no longer using the Accounting component?
Environment
Release : 14.2
Component : CA MICS ACCOUNTING AND CHARGEBACK
Resolution
To disable ACT in a database unit, perform the following steps
update prefix.PARMS(EXECDEF) and specify ACCOUNTING INACTIVE.
update prefix.PARMS(JCLDEF) to remove ACT from the components statement
Submit prefix.CNTL(JCLGEND) to regenerate the operational jobs without the Accounting DD's and ***199 step.
