Disable ACT component in a Database Unit

Issue/Introduction

How can we disable ACT in a MICS Database Unit as we are no longer using the Accounting component? 

Environment

Release : 14.2

Component : CA MICS ACCOUNTING AND CHARGEBACK

Resolution

To disable ACT in a database unit, perform the following steps

• update prefix.PARMS(EXECDEF) and specify ACCOUNTING INACTIVE. 
• update prefix.PARMS(JCLDEF) to remove ACT from the components statement
• Submit prefix.CNTL(JCLGEND) to regenerate the operational jobs without the Accounting DD's and ***199 step.
