Issue/Introduction

The ERRORCNT field on the Detector for Db2 for z/OS (PDT) SQL ERROR Summary Display exceeds the "Max SQL errors retained in a collection interval"
and the "Max SQL errors retained for a single SQLCODE" count in the Collection Profile. Are the Collection Profile SQL Error limits honored?

Resolution

The ERRORCNT field on the Detector SQL ERROR Summary Display panel gives an accurate count of how many times the errors occurred during the interval.
It is not limited to the Collection Profile error settings or the number of errors that are actually captured on the SQL Error Detail Display.
Rather, it provides the actual error counts so that adjustments can be made within the Collection Profile settings if needed.
