BRCM Clarity Xogged Resource shows on project team two times

Issue/Introduction

When go to project team, one resource show up two times.  When search for the resource, resource showed allocated to the same project twice.

Environment

 

Component : CA PPM SAAS XML OPEN GATEWAY (XOG)

Cause

This can happen if 

1) Resource is not financially enabled and

2) Unique name is changed

3) Resource gets xogged in a second time with new unique name

 

As XOG does not validate the resource's internal ID, only their Resource ID when adding resource to the team.

When adding a resource to the team through the UI, the filter for adding the resource validates on resource internal ID so the record does not appear on Add, if the resource is already on the team.

Resolution

Identified as  DE56735

 

Workaround: Validate the resource is not already on the team or do not change the resource's ID.
