Issue/Introduction

We are currently using the CCS UIM interface to send WTO (alerts) from OPS/MVS to UIM.

On the z/OS  mainframe systems we have the Message service (ZMSSTART) and Data Collector ZDCSTART running.

The Message HUB is NOT running on the MF but on a distributed environment.

Can I implement OPS/MVS Mainframe Team Center Automation in my existing configuration or MUST Message HUB run on z/OS ?

Under the section of documentation titled "Configure the Web Application" it is stated that the Message Service Hub may be on a distributed platform.  It reads: 

"This Common Services (CCS) component uses a hub-and-spoke topology to reliably transport messages from one endpoint to another. You may use the Message Service hub included as part of CCS (installed under USS) or an off-platform version of this common component provided by another product."
