Issue/Introduction

Can we replace a value in a field with a 'NULL' value with an XOG?

Environment

Release : 15.3

Component : CA PPM SAAS APPLICATION

Resolution

For XOG, it is possible to set the hireDate and terminationDate attributes for resources to the special-case values "null" or "NULL" (note all-lower OR all-upper case) as an alternative to specifying a literal date, and that will blank out / erase the contents of those fields in Clarity.

This really is a special case for these fields; it does not apply to attributes in general, and it doesn't even apply to other date fields.
