What high availability capabilities are available for the Data Repository (Vertica database)?

Resolution

There are two types of Vertica setup available during the install of the Data Repository component for Performance Management.  The first is a single node Vertica setup (no high availability).  The second is a three node Vertica cluster setup.  If one node in the cluster is down then the workload of the failed node is shared between the two existing nodes.  Should a second node also go down then Vertica shuts down.
