Connection Object for Oracle Agent is not working

Issue/Introduction

Automic Admin is getting the following error when testing their Oracle Connection Object:

U02000112 Remote System is not available via Connection Object 'CONN.SQL.CONNECTION_OBJECT.'.

Environment

Release : 12.3.x

Component : AUTOMATION ENGINE

Resolution

The Oracle CONN object requires:

• a DB Service Agent installed
• For Oracle OCI Connections -> an Oracle Client Installed on the DB Service Agent server
  • This Oracle Clients needs a tsaname.ora populated (Net Configuration Option)
