Issue/Introduction

We find that EM COLLECTORS are receiving very high number of transaction traces from agents.

We would like to know a way to identify which agents are sending more transaction traces, in the procedure.

We are looking for a procedure how to determine number of transaction traces reported by the each agent to EM.

Environment

Release : 10.7.0

Component : Introscope

Resolution

Here is some information that we can use to find how many Transaction Tracing events each agent is sending to EM.

In the invesigator under superdomain -> Custom Metric Host (virtual)->
Custom Metric Process (virtual)-> Custom Metric Agent (superdomain)
Agents -> [Server Name] -> [Agent Name] -> Transaction Tracing Events Per Interval

Here we can adjust the time range and see how many Transaction Tracing events agent is send to EM.

Another place we can find this information is in the "Query Historical Events" UI.

We add the [Server Name] or [Agent Name]  in the query and then run the query.

Here is some information that can help to control the Transaction Tracing events.
