After upgraded to r15 and XMANAGER / PTXMAN STC was started, the LOG shows GEN0915 Health Checker request failed, RC= 40, RSN= 0 message.
RC=40 on the Health Checker initialization request indicates that the CA Health Checker common service is not installed. If you are using the IBM Health Checker service and are interested in the integration with CA products (including the DB2 tools), then you will also need to install the CA Health Checker common services, FMID(CEF5C00) delivered with
CCS (CA Common Services).
The message, GEN0915, is informational, and the absence of the CA Common Services Health Checker component does not affect the normal operation of our DB2 tools.
You may also see the message when CA Health Checker common services has been installed if CAW0LOAD is missing in APF- and LINKLIST
Since CA Health Checker Common Service version 14.1 you need to add the CAWOLOAD into the APFLIST and LINKLIST.
With the above change, you'll see the following messages when XMANAGER starts:
