Issue/Introduction

Description:

When modifying a job using the jil command in iXP but a message is received:

Inserting/Upfdating job: ExpressPay3_job1
CAUAJM_W_10452 The Windows NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM User Account does not have
sufficient authority to access CA WAAE assets.
CAUAJM_E_10302 Database Change WAS NOT sucessful.
CAUAJM_E_50198
Exit Code = 1

Solution:

The iXp Tomcat service may be started as a local SYSTEM account. So when performing a jil or sendevent action, it is failing the AutoSys security checks.

There are 2 options:

  1. Add SYSTEM account to have full JIL access (Edit Superuser) and full job control (Exec Superuser).
  2. Change the iXp Tomcat service to run as a user that has the above privileges (e.g. a domain account)
