Ex: The file name is /test  (no extension)

The Dirscan probe UI show only files having .extension like .txt, .log etc

Release : 9.x

Component : UIM - DIRSCAN

1. Create a file named "test" in "/" directory without any file name extension

2. Create a profile in dirscan probe to monitor file size of "/test" file

3. Restart the probe after above configuration

4. It will monitor this file size and generate an alert when it breaches the threshols
