classpath: /IBM/wily/AgentNoRedefNoRetrans.jar

Cause

Websphere MDM application is not tested or certified with APM Agents.

Engineering provided a workaround /custom instrumentation.

Resolution

1. Enable AutoProbe from the AgentNoRedefNoTrans.profile

2. Edit jvm.pbd with

SkipPackagePrefix: com.ibm.ws.

3. Restart the application

Result:

Business app components show ALL up and running

Agent is reporting system metrics, Backends, Frontends, Servlets, Webservices

Not able to get the PMI Metrics

Note: Contact IBM - how to enable PMI of the MDM Application , so Agent can monitor the PMI Metrics
