Issue/Introduction


There is a problem with the monitoring agent for IIS (.Net agent), where agent cannot determine the name of the sites (it places them Site, Site%1, Site%2) and under those sites, various applications are executed but can not be correctly placed under a particular site in Investigator. 

 

Cause

Websites are configured with site name and not with virtual path. 

Environment

Release : 10.7.0

Component : APM Agents

Resolution

Need to set the below property in IntroscopeAgent.profile to true as below:


    introscope.agent.dotnet.naming.sitename.enabled=true
