Issue/Introduction

Issues with R12 WCC Web UI Install.

During WCC Web UI upgrade, the installation failed.  Can we get some help to correct this issue

Installation Complete

The installation of AutoSys Workload Automation is finished, but some warnings

occurred during the install.  Please see the installation log for details.

 

Encountered fatal error:

    [CAUAJM_E_116408] An error occurred while creating or upgrading the Web UI

database. For more information, refer to the log file.

 

Encountered below warnings during installation:

[CAUAJM_W_119020] Unable to modify the "Enable Reporting" status in the Web UI

database. java.sql.SQLNonTransientConnectionException: Connection

authentication failure occurred.  Reason: Userid or password invalid.

 

Post-installation logs will be written to:

    /opt/CA/WorkloadAutomationAE/Logs/AutoSys_Workload_Automation_<Install_tim

e_stamp>.log

    /opt/CA/WorkloadAutomationAE/Logs/cawa_installer_18_09_2020_10_31_20.log

Resolution

File derby.properties under wcc/derby/DB_FILES was missing. Copied it from a backup and the upgrade completed successfully.
