How to change default values for AREA DEVICE and BLOCK-SIZE in DDOL

Issue/Introduction

Default DEVICE type 3380 needs to be changed to 3390 and default BLOCK SIZE needs to be changed from 4096 to 27988.

How can these default values be changed in Datadictionary Online (DDOL)?

Resolution

Update the attributes (U ATT in DDOL) on columns DEVICE and BLOCK-SIZE in DATA-DICT table AREA.

Put 3390 in attribute value for column DEVICE and put 27998 in attribute value for column BLOCK-SIZE and APPLY the changes.

After doing the APPLY in DDOL, run batch program DDCFBLD with card -HSD RESET in SYSIN.
